Sketch Stand

A light, yet stable, modelling stand, made with strong tubular aluminium legs, which can be folded for easy transport and storage. The stand weighs approx. 7kg (15½lb). The shaft is drilled at regular intervals for the insertion of a locking pin for increased load security. The 30.5cm (12”) square top is made of 25mm (1”) exterior grade plywood. The top will revolve at all heights and lock firmly at will.

Student Stand - Fixed Top / Skid Feet

Our most popular heavy duty modelling stand. Used extensively in artists’ studios and educational establishments. Manufactured with strong tubular aluminium legs, which can be folded for storage and transport. Fitted with a 35.5cm (14”) top made of 25mm (1”) exterior grade plywood. The top rotates independently from the lockable heavy duty threaded shaft.

Student Stand - Tilting Top / Ball Feet

Heavy duty and versatile modelling stand. Has the facility to be easily moved sideways without lifting. Manufactured with strong tubular aluminium legs, which can be folded for storage and transport. The ball feet are constructed from steel rollers mounted in gun metal castings. They can be locked. Fitted with a 35.5cm (14”) top made of 25mm (1”) exterior grade plywood. This is mounted on a pair of quadrant castings, which enables the stand to be tilted and locked at a 45º angle for low relief work. The top also locks in a vertical position for storage and transport. The height is adjusted with the heavy duty screw thread and lock nut.

Whirler / Table Modelling Stand

The 20cm (8”) turned, round, quality aluminium top is marked off in rings and will spin freely for banding or modelling. It can be fixed in position by the use of the locking handwheel, to aid modelling and painting of small models.

Wooden Modelling Stand

Tripod wooden modelling stand, with simple height adjustment from approximately 100cm (39”) to 130cm (51”). The top is approximately 33.5cm (13”) square plywood 20mm (¾”) thick. Comes flat-packed for self-assembly.
