The Gladstone G50E is the same compact design as the G49E but has a larger 150 mm barrel with a 75mm outlet. The G50E has a greater out put and due to its larger hopper is easier to use than its smaller cousin , the pug mill is supplied as standard with a thermal overload switch .

4” outlet Vertical Pugmill
The 100 mm 4” Vertical Pugmill is an extremely powerful and robust extruder with the capacity to handle all types of clays. The main body is manufactured from aluminium, with a auger also made up of individual alloy blades which can be altered to change there configurations to suit different types of clay. The Auger is mounted through two taper thrust bearings and is driven via a flexible coupling by a 1.1 kW (1.5 Hp) helical geared motor with a final drive output of 18 rpm. The G55 is fitted with a safety interlock switch which eliminates the need for a grid in the loading hopper, making it extremely easy to use. The pugmill is supplied with a separate nose cone that is pre-drilled to facilitate the fitting of different die plates for coil building etc.

The G48 is a 50 mm out let de-airing pug mill this machine can be offered in range of specifications and is ideal for the small studio
Or laboratory use . The standard machine incorporates Aluminium barrels and nose cone with Nylatron blades . The auger is powered by a in line helical drive motor and gearbox and the pug mill is supplied complete with a high volume vacuum pump.

The G51 is the entry to our standard range of Pug mills, it Has a 100 mm split Aluminium barrel to facilitate easy cleaning with a 50 mm outlet . The auger consist of individually mounted Nylatron blades that can be altered in configuration so that a greater mixing action or a faster extrusion rate can be obtained . Drive is supplied from a high torque helical drive gear box and the pug mill is supplied complete with all its necessary switch gear .
